Apple Tree by Sarah Joy

About

Once upon a time, in a world not too different from this one, there lived a little girl who believed in Magic. She was a Dreamer. She spent a great deal of time sitting in an old apple tree, talking to the Wind and reading books that taught her about nobility and kindness. When she wasn’t in the tree, she spent her time drawing pictures, or writing poems and stories.

Time passed, as it does, and the little girl grew up. She taught school for a while, and she painted covers for books and magazines for a while. She wrote a couple of books, and edited a few more. For a while, she worked in a virtual world.

But all the time, she kept dreaming, and thinking, and believing that kindness and nobility of spirit were very important. That the Meaning of Life is to have fun, learn stuff, and help other people have fun and learn stuff. That the most important thing to learn is love.

Now she’s a grandmother, and the world isn’t quite like the one she grew up in. Now she knits, and quilts, and blogs. These are her thoughts and stories…
