I’ve been thinking a lot about starting to blog again lately, and have decided, for many reasons, that it’s something that I should do.
I wasn’t terribly happy with the blogging service I have been using, though; and I decided to look into WordPress, which seems to do all the things I would like to be able to do with a blog.
Imagine my surprise when I realized that I had a blog on WordPress.com already! Apparently, I decided to give it a spin almost exactly four years ago, but then totally forgot about it. (Probably because of the huge amount of work required to move house.) Who would have guessed?
This time, though, I’m going to approach it the way I prefer to approach things. I’m taking a WordPress Masterclass from Lynda.com, so (hopefully) I’ll really know what I’m doing. I’m also kind of committing to writing several times a week.
I’ll be practicing here for the next few days. So if the posts seem … odd, or if the theme is changing every time you refresh the page, that’s why.
It will stabilize soon.
