Hi! If you’re reading this, then you have found the new blog on my website.
The older posts are here from when I had them up as a practice blog at WordPress.com. I intended to make it part of my site all along, and now I’ve finally done it. And there was much rejoicing.
If you are familiar with my site, you’re going to be seeing a lot of changes. I’ve been neglecting the site for years, really, while I concentrated on other things. But it’s time to freshen it up a bit.
Some parts will be vanishing for good. Some of the things here are years out of date; tutorials for programs I haven’t used in more than a decade. Models that I made long ago, when I wasn’t all that good at modeling. Icons for systems that have been obsolete for ages. That kind of thing.
Some parts will be renamed, so I can organize the back-end a bit better. I’m afraid that those will be returning a 404 error; but it’s okay, I’ll put links to where you can find those sections on the 404 page.
Most of it will just get a facelift, and hopefully there will be new content as well. Goodness knows the poor site could use some!
Part of the reason behind the change was to be able to have this blog. Comments on the blog will be moderated, but please, feel free to comment if you are so inclined! I will, of course, not be allowing attack comments of any sort. As your grandmother might have told you, if you can’t think of something nice to say, don’t say anything at all. I intend for this space to be welcoming, diverse, and safe for everyone.
So, thanks for visiting! Pull up a chair, help yourself to a slice of pie, and make yourself at home. See you soon!
