Lace Textures in Second Life |

Lace in SL - click here for a larger image. |
Making lace from a photograph or scanned trim is simple and quick when you know how. There's no selection of any kind involved! Just copy the image, and paste it into a new Alpha channel, then adjust the Levels.
If you want to see how to do that, I have a Quicktime move here. It should stream fine if you have a high speed connection, which you kind of have to have to play Second Life, too, so I feel fairly safe offering it this way. The advantage of Quciktime is that you can use the controls to stop and examine any parts that you are unsure of.
I hope that you enjoy it!
